In 2007, Governor Eliot Spitzer became New York’s # 1 supporter of full public financing of elections. He is working to get big money, special interests OUT of New York State politics! Assembly members around New York State are right there with him. Click here to check out if your Assembly representative has signed on!

If we are going to win Clean Elections in New York, the State Assembly must PASS a Clean Money, Clean Elections bill in 2008’s legislative session We need ALL the Assembly members on board! Only YOU, the VOTERS can make that happen. The campaign contributors and lobbyists in Albany certainly aren’t lining up to help the cause…it’s GOT TO BE YOU!

Make November 12-16 the time that you TAKE ACTION on New York’s Clean Elections campaign! Here's what to do:  

• Generate 10 phone calls to your local Assembly Member and tell them to PASS Clean Elections in 2008! [download the “how to” here]

• Write a letter to the editor of your newspaper! [download samples here]
