With campus-based chapters throughout the country, we focus on the issue of private money in politics and other pro-democracy reforms. Public Campaign is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to sweeping reform that aims to dramatically reduce the role of special interest money in America's elections and the influence of big contributors in American politics. Public Campaign is laying the foundation for reform by working with various organizations, particularly citizen groups around the country that are fighting for change in their states.


New York Citizens For Clean Elections is committed to passage of Clean Money Clean Election legislation in New York State that provides a non-partisan approach for full public funding of campaigns for all qualified candidates who refuse private money and abide by spending limits. NYCCE has chapters in the Hudson Valley and continues to grow.


The New York Democracy Project was created in an effort to elect honest politicians who maintain a responsibility to the voters. Gaining the support of voters is the key to having measures passed to encourage Clean Money, Clean Elections statewide. Educating voters about the benefits of politicians who support these reform measures will help to get those politicians elected, and thus further the process of refining our political system.
