The
Alliance for Quality Education is both a not-for-profit corporation
and the statewide coalition of over 300 organizations of parents, children's
advocates, schools, teachers, clergy, labor unions, business leaders and
others that Citizen Action of New York helped found. Coalition partners
are working hard to assure that every child in New York State has
a quality education.
The Campaign for Fiscal Equity is a not-for-profit corporation; a coalition of parent organizations,
community school boards, concerned citizens and advocacy groups that seek
to reform New York State's school finance system to ensure adequate resources
and the opportunity for a sound basic education for all students in New
York City. Their efforts will also help secure the same opportunity for
students throughout the state who are not currently receiving a sound
basic education.
The Fiscal Policy Institute is The Fiscal Policy Institute (FPI) is a nonpartisan research and education
organization that focuses on the broad range of tax, budget, economic
and related public policy issues that affect the quality of life and the
economic well-being of New York State residents. Founded in 1991, FPI's
work is intended to further the development and implementation of public
policies that create a strong economy in which prosperity is broadly shared
by all New Yorkers.
The Midstate School Finance
Consortium is an alliance for the reform of public school funding
in New York State, supporting fairness for all children and equity for
all taxpayers.
