Every New Yorker has unique story to tell about their own health care needs, concerns and opinions.  On May 28th, New Yorkers from across the state will assemble at the Capitol to share their own real life stories of how health care needs to be fixed.
If you are a health care consumer and would like to tell YOUR story, or if you want more information about thisevent, contact Mark Hannay of Metro New York Health Care for All Campaign at 212-925-1829 or Jessica Wisneski of Citizen Action of New York at 845-901-0264.

HCFANY is a new statewide campaign founded by the American Cancer Society, the Center for Working Families, the Children’s Defense Fund of New York, the Community Service Society, the Metro New York Health Care for All Campaign, the New York Immigration Coalition, New Yorkers for Accessible Health Coverage, and the Public Policy and Education Fund of New York (Citizen Action).  We are dedicated to achieving affordable, comprehensive and high-quality health care for all residents of New York by 2010.  As the State moves forward to design a health care solution for New York State, HCFANY will be there to meet it.  It is our goal to bring each New Yorker’s voice to the health reform debate, to make sure that any health care reform proposal put forth by the State addresses our shared needs.
